Projects

Fun-filled projects presented by Skills Canada – Nova Scotia allow Nova Scotian youth to discover a variety of skilled trades and technologies through hands-on workshops and discussions with people working in skilled trades and technologies.

During these one-day events, students participate in three hands on workshops, for example, you may build a bird house, learn to use Photoshop, and then wrap up the day by decorating a cake!

Projects take place at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) Campuses across the province from October to May. Secondary schools from the surrounding school boards are invited to join in the fun.

For more information on how you can be a part of a Skills InDemand Youth Project, talk to your school guidance counselor.

Interested? Check out the calendar of events for upcoming Project dates, or contact Laura Decker, Project Manager at (902) 491-4647 or laurad@skillscanada.com to find out how you can be involved!
