Did you Know?

•    The Nova Scotia Skills Competition, which involves participation from 240+ competitors, and 300 volunteers, requires thousands of dollars in donated materials and financial contributions

What we need:
Partners make the difference for our organization in several ways. We have financial sponsors, who are a necessity in sending gold medalists from the Nova Scotia Skills Competition to the Canadian Skills Competition. We are always in need of materials for the Nova Scotia Skills Competition, Contributions towards other initiatives such as youth projects, disability services, presentations, and publications are necessary to our organization, and finally, volunteers are always on high demand.

Who Benefits?
Fewer people are choosing careers in skilled trades and technologies. This fact, combined with an aging workforce, is putting a strain on human resources for these industries. Partners who invest in our organization are investing in long-term economic growth for Nova Scotia and are being pro-active in addressing the shortfall of skilled workers in Canada. Partnership support enables us to help meet the workforce demands of educators, youth, industry, and labour groups.
